Project YANO's activities are only possible with the support of those who value its work. 80% of our funding comes from generous individuals and community groups.

Individuals

Donations from individuals can be made online via a credit card or with a check sent to our mailing address (P.O. Box 230157, Encinitas, CA 92023). Pledges can be made in the form of a recurring donation via our online donation system.

Group Sponsors

Sponsorships from partners are an important source of support. These can include a monthly pledge or annual contribution from a labor, civic, educator or religious organization.  Fundraisers have also been organized in the past by student and youth groups.

Please contact us if your organization would like to become a sponsor. If desired, we can send a representative to speak about our work to organizations in San Diego County.

Foundations and Donor-advised Funds

Project YANO receives occasional grants, usually in the $1000-$5000 range. These are some of the groups that have given us grants at least once in the past 10 years:

  • Sunflower Fund
  • Peace Development Fund
  • craigslist Charitable Fund
  • Left Tilt Fund
  • Resist, Inc.
  • A.J. Muste Memorial Institute
  • Rose and Sherle Wagner Foundation
  • Non-violent Action Community of Cascadia
  • Southern California War Tax Alternative Fund
  • Grassroots International Presente Fund

With your support, you will share credit for reaching and educating many young people who need to hear about non-military alternatives for higher education, job training and community service.
